Inauguration Day
Today is one of those days that everybody will remember. In a few years’ time, people will ask you: “Where were you on January 20, 2009?” and everybody will remember precisely what they were doing.
What I am doing now is watching the events unfold in Washington DC on the Internet. There’s about one hour to go. I am amazed that I can actually do this! The world has become such a small place. Technology is such an amazing thing… when used properly. I have stuff to do but it is difficult to get away from the screen!! So I get things done that don’t require me to move too far!
I don’t remember seeing anything like this before. I don’t know anyone who is not excited about this. Everybody seems united for this event and the future that Obama’s presidency holds. It’s like a breath of fresh air, holding hope of a great beginning.
I feel that! I know I am not the only one!
Such a positive vibe can only bring good things and a great future.
